About a year ago, i made a comment on how i wished the Star Wars Prequels hadn’t been directed by George Lucas, since he fucked up the universe and the characters that i loved from the originals but instead to be directed by a real director or directors. J.J. Abrams for Episode I, Alfonso Cuaron for Episode II and Christopher Nolan for Episode III. Now comes news that J.J. Abrams is in fact directing the first of the new Star Wars movies, Episode VI for the summer of 2015, and who knows maybe Cuaron and Nolan will sing on for the ones after, for now i’m super stoked and i can’t wait. :D
The Star Wars movies are some of the best movies ever made…the original ones. But the resent prequels have disappointed me again and again. I think I’m not alone when I blame George Lucas for this, I know that he created the saga but he’s just not a good director anymore and I though that maybe it’d be fucking cool if the movies were remake with new scrips and directors. Episode 1 director JJ Abrams. Episode 2 director Alfonso Cuaron. And episode 3 director Christopher Nolan. this of course might never happen but I can’t help to think ” what if”
